Loose cannon....

And now that i turn around
I realize,
That smile on her lips,
and tears in her glittery black eyes,
Was all she had .Astound,
at my greed,my want
For what she had to offer
Was not to suffice ,my greed , my want
And so I made her suffer...
Suffer...in each and every sense...
Everytime she tried ..
To recreate, to regain..
I knocked her out.
Her efforts,her affection,her love
Everything

Deaf to her pleas,
Blind to her efforts and attempts
My mouth scowled,forehead creased,
Indurated, I rejoiced in her torments.
It gave me pleasure maybe...
Then..
To see her like that...
in pain,pleading for me to...
understand.
to drink the elixir of love from..
...the lips of her soul...

But now..
Now when I go back
To look for her, to apologize,
At the same crossroads I had left her,
I am in for a surprise...

Not exhausted,
nor weak,
not miserable,
nor meek,
not teary,
nor dreary,
Not with the box of letters..
Which I refused to accept...
the last time we met..
when I potrayed to care for her..
tell her..
the hollow..
I love you..

No hunched shoulders,
No pale face,
No swollen eyes,
No shivering hands,

Rather ,
Taller than before,
Aiming for the skies,

I see her  flick her hair,
strong stature,steady gaze.
She walks with her head held high.
And swooshes past me;
I am in a haze.
And thus shrunk I am,
To this little measure with..
sham and guilt and remorse.

 I know,
Now she is rising, far and high.
Now she is not looking back,
Heading towards what she deserves!
Now she is a loose cannon.
Loose cannon.. A loose cannon..!
